We were looking forward to opening the season of terraces and we do it in style, never better said. In Ginkgo Restaurant & Sky Bar, one of the trendiest rooftops located in Plaza de España and offering one of the best 360° views of Madrid’s skyline. For this spring, the restaurant has bet Sushi Menu & Pairing of signature cocktails that will become one of the favorites of the capital.
Composed of three courses (plus dessert) that combine the best of the best Asian and Mediterranean gastronomy, this unique gastronomic journey is paired with four signature cocktails that will create a perfect fusion between the most exquisite sushi flavors and the most innovative cocktails. Everything is taken care of in detail: from the elaboration techniques to the selection and quality of the products, which will result in an authentic sensory experience without borders. The exclusive menu costs 110 € per person and can only be tasted by 8 diners in each dinner shift (there are two times a day: at 20:30 and 22:30 h).
A must-try menu
In the first pass of the Sushi & Pairing Menu of signature cocktails, diners will be able to taste fusion delicacies such as anchovy, piparra and olive bite, smoked sardine nigiri with semi-dried tomato or asparagus, truffle and egg yolk Uramaki. As for the liquid proposal, it will be paired with Martini Mediterráneo, a variant of the traditional one that incorporates herbs and infused vegetables and is made with gin and a mixture of Mediterranean flavors such as basil, bay leaf, thyme, rosemary, tomato and olive.
For the second course, dishes such as the Orange lacquered duck roll, the Rubia Gallega matured loin nigiri or the Tuna tartar ingot with citrus mayonnaise, accompanied by the Wasabi Martini cocktail, which includes Grey Goose Vodka, St Germain, lychee, wasabi and caper, will be served. For the third course, the menu offers other delicacies such as open marrow temaki, foie nigiri with sautéed strawberries and Modena or sea urchin gunkan, along with the Ginkgo Martini, one of the most outstanding cocktails, thanks to its combination of exotic and sophisticated flavors.
And to finish this journey of flavors, for dessert you will find an apple gyoza with custard and coconut ice cream, paired with Apple Chai. As you can see, this Ginkgo menu promises to be one of the most demanded proposals this spring. And all with incredible views and a sophisticated atmosphere, don’t miss it!
