Pizza Hut is tapping into the famous Los Angeles bagel food truck to co-create the so-called ‘Big New York Pizza Bagel‘. A combination of the flavours of the fast food chain’s Big New Yorker pizza, originally launched in the late 90s, and the spongy texture of the classic Yeastie Boys bagel.

This culinary tribute to NYC takes the form of a bagel layered with sweet marinara sauce, fresh parmesan cheese and oregano, all topped with double pepperoni.

‘We’re thrilled to partner with Yeastie Boys to introduce the Pizza Bagel, which gives our Big New Yorker pizza an even bigger New York twist,’ says Rachel Antalek, Pizza Hut’s director of food innovation, in the press notes. We’re always looking for innovative ways to surprise our customers, and this collaboration perfectly embodies our commitment to bold flavours and culinary creativity.

These pizza bagels will hit food trucks in Los Angeles and New York at the end of March. But before that, they will debut at the Rolling Loud music festival in Los Angeles between 15 and 17 March.
