Churros are more associated with breakfasts and chocolate, while ice cream brings you more to a tub or a cone. A priori these two foods are usually eaten at different times, but what if we tell you that they have created a churro sandwich with ice cream that is a hit in Las Palmas? The creators of this original product are in the cafeteria +Q’Xurros Café and have been offering the usual churros since 2019, but in innovative formats.
In addition to selling the classic churros (with their elongated shape), in this cafeteria they also have churros in rolls that serve as a sandwich base so you can fill them with chocolate, vanilla or strawberry ice cream. Their secret is based on the traditional recipe, but constantly improving it with a crunchier and tastier dough. The churro sandwich with ice cream costs about 4.5 €.
But that’s not all, because their love for churros goes beyond that. In addition to the churro sandwich with ice cream, in this cafeteria you can also try the Xurro Dog hot dog (for about 4 €), the Xurro Tarta, the Xurro Sundae or the stuffed Bites. Is there a better paradise for churro lovers?
