If you like Tanqueray gin this May is your lucky month. If you happen to go by Platea in the city of Madrid you will be able to enjoy a cocktail inspired in the 20’s created by the barman Diego Cabrera that will not leave you indifferent.
The ‘Tanqueray Jazz’, that is the name of this creation, is a new mix that this cocktail expert has prepared to celebrate the opening of “Tanqueray Stage”, the platform in support of culture that this brand organises every year.
Here is the recipe if you’d like to try it at home, but you already know that everything tastes better if it’s accompanied by some good friends and some good music in a great space. But be quick, Platea (Goya 5-7, Madrid) will only be serving this cocktail until the end of May.
5 cl. of Tanqueray NºTEN
2 cl. of Suze
0.5 cl of yellow Chartreause
1 cl. of elderflower liquor
2 cl. of lime cordial
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to chill the mix. Serve by straining over a cocktail glass and decorate with a feather and a lime twist.
