Enjoy a bus tour of the city while tasting an exclusive haute cuisine menu is possible thanks to Bustronome: a top-of-the-range tourist bus that incorporates a quality gastronomic experience. You’ll discover all the nooks and crannies of cities such as Paris and London, while sampling the local gastronomy. This dining room on wheels with panoramic views offers lunch and dinner tours lasting between 2 and 3 hours for a price starting at 70 euros. It has a menu that includes four courses at lunchtime and up to six courses in the evening service.

Bustronome is currently available in Paris and London, but plans to expand to other cities. Under the slogan ‘Voyage gourmand’, this black double-decker bus will take you to Parisian tourist sites such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Champs Elysées and Notre Dame. In London, on the other hand, the tour starts at Victoria Embankment stop 40B and passes iconic sites such as Trafalgar Square, Tate Modern, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, Hyde Park and Harrods.

A creative gastronomic experience on the move

Travellers can enjoy these incredible views thanks to the Bustronome’s 360º panoramic terrace, which also serves as a dining room with a capacity for almost 40 diners. This original idea was born in France in October 2014 and since the beginning its kitchen has been run by chef Sébastien Nicolleau, while Ignazio Nuccio has been the creative director since 2021.

The team prepares accessible, seasonal and contemporary French cuisine, also combining it with products from all over the world. They have adapted their skills to this kitchen on wheels and the result is aesthetic dishes full of flavour and tradition. In addition, throughout the year they invite top chefs to collaborate in the preparation of the menus to surprise diners.

As for prices, they vary a little depending on the city you are in. For example, in Paris, the lunch menu costs €70 (without drinks) and €90 with two glasses of wine, while in London it’s €80 without drinks and around €100 with drinks. For dinner, the price is higher, as the menu includes six courses.

During the tour, traveller-diners also have at their disposal audio guides explaining each place visited. They are available in 10 languages, including Spanish. A complete experience that is also enlivened by carefully selected music to make the journey more comfortable. Of course, all the furniture is adapted to the circumstances so that the evening is spent in motion without the diner having to worry during the route.
