Prince Harry has turned 39 together with his wife, Meghan Markle. In the midst of the controversial relationship with his family, the British royalty, the prince enjoyed a relaxed evening this Thursday in which he was able to have fun with his wife.

The chosen place was a traditional German brewery located in Düsseldorf, whose name is Schumacher. It is the oldest brewery in the city. It dates back to 1838 and they make beer in a traditional way following the centuries-old recipes with which its production began.

The couple was always accompanied by the group that accompanies and protects the prince, made up of 12 people.

According to what the head waiter who served the group, Frank Wackers, told the Daily Mail, Harry drank six small beers and Megan only had one.

The food was varied, but typical German and made with the family recipe they use at that location. The dishes that began to take over the table ranged from sausages, pork knuckle, and roast to mashed potatoes.

For dessert, the owners of the establishment brought out a white chocolate cake to congratulate the prince on his birthday.

The entourage members and the couple joked with the workers in good humor. The head waiter said they were “very friendly” and Harry said he was “lovely”.

He also comments that the prince left a good tip and before leaving, the couple posed for a photo that the restaurant uploaded to its social networks.

They were there because of the celebration of the “Invictus Games” sports competition, an event that the prince created in 2014 together with the association of sick or injured veterans and in which adapted sports such as wheelchair basketball or sitting volleyball are played.
