Nobu San Sebastian is installed in the epicenter of the bay as an authentic architectural work that fuses Belle Époque design and Japanese style reinterpreted through modern luxury.

This emblematic traditional palace, built by architect Francisco Urcola, is now reimagined by designer Tomás Alía to embody the firm’s narrative, resulting in a transition between the Frenchified Basque language and the Japanese concept of Nobu.

Nobu Terrace, a restaurant connected to the ocean

Following the concept of the Nobu house, Estudio Caramba bases its starting point on the gastronomic experience now interpreted by the great chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

Nobu Terrace, the bar-cocktail bar where breakfast is also served, is located overlooking the horizon of La Concha to achieve that feeling of eternal link with the sea.

Inside the restaurant, the lattices simulate the movement of the wind coming from the sea in a space hierarchized by a bar with a stony appearance that emerges from the floor; accompanied by a tongue that runs along the ceiling with a mirrored effect introducing, once again, the sea inside.

Design rooms

The rooms represent a classic envelope with ceilings worked at two heights, topped with backlit moldings with a French look that match the aesthetics of the building.

The bedrooms are decorated with large, soft carpets, following the same geometric patterns, while, in the dressing room area, high gloss lacquered cabinets channel the elegance of a music box.

All the furnishings fit in harmony with the concept and aesthetics of the boutique in rooms designed as if they were haute couture suits in which to live the Nobu elevated luxury experience.
