The island of Ibiza will become tonight the perfect stage on which ‘Gucci Osteria‘ will deploy its contemporary culinary philosophy in Ibiza. A special event devised in collaboration with the CAN Art fair, an innovative platform that brings together the work of different current artists fusing the excitement and vibrancy of the avant-garde art scene with the carefree attitude of the Mediterranean lifestyle.

CAN, as the home of art or the place of the latest movements, will coexist harmoniously in the same space inhabited by the identity and the concept of haute cuisine of Gucci Osteria.

Gucci Osteria

As night falls, Gucci Osteria‘s haute couture-clad tables will serve up the creativity, elegance, sensuality and playfulness that envelop the culinary DNA of each of the Italian restaurants that make up the joint project between the House of Gucci and renowned chef Massimo Bottura.

The youthful energy embodied in the luxury house, and its parallels with the philosophy of Italian chef Massimo Bottura, are transferred through ‘Gucci Osteria‘ to different contemporary restaurants located in cities around the world. A culinary journey that has been landing in destinations and/or enclaves such as Florence, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Seoul, fusing the elevated aesthetics of the Maison with Italian signature cuisine.

Massimo Bottura

The Modenese chef Massimo Bottura captures in each of his creations a narrative of the Italian landscape and his culinary passions in a contemporary key. A juxtaposition of gastronomic tradition and innovation with contemporary art and design, which now connects in essence and concept with the CAN and Gucci evening in Ibiza, where he will design the menu for the occasion.

Beyond overseeing the kitchen at Gucci Osteria since 2018, Botura is known for being the chef owner of ‘Osteria Francescana‘, the three Michelin-starred restaurant located in Modena (Italy), which, in both 2016 and 2018 received the award for the best restaurant in the world in ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ list.

The chef also has a second restaurant in Modena, called ‘Franceschetta58‘, as well as the guesthouse Casa Maria Luigia in the Emilia countryside.

In all his restaurants, in which he traces the Italian gastronomic art, collide a series of ideas, techniques and cultures based on creativity and contemporaneity that reflect the apogee of a career that began in 1986 at the helm of the ‘Trattoria del Campazzo’.
