Sprinkles Bakery interprets the Lunar New Year with a cupcake entitled ‘Gold Dragon Bruce Lee’, in honour of the Hong Kong-American martial artist, actor, filmmaker and philosopher.

In collaboration with the Bruce Lee Foundation and Gold House, this cupcake symbolises the Year of the Dragon and features Sprinkles’ iconic red velvet cake with almond shavings on an almond biscuit crust, topped with almond cream cheese frosting and a personalised Bruce Lee Dragon decoration.

The symbolism that fuels this creation, inspired by the traditional almond biscuits that are traditionally given as Lunar New Year gifts, continues with its central ingredient and chromatic identity: the almond and the colour red, as an ode to good luck and fortune in Chinese culture.

The ‘Gold Dragon Bruce Lee‘ cupcake will be available for $6 from 22 January until 11 February at all Sprinkles Cupcakes locations.
