Beyoncé‘s renaissance era continues with a second act in which she explores the depths of country music and rides through its iconography. An evolutionary stage that is reflected in her new album ‘Cowboy Carter’, the cover of which she recently revealed. And, in it, gastronomic art is also referenced.

The pop icon would glimpse this creative synergy by sharing in the images of ‘act II Cowboy Carter’ a series of desserts from the luxury sushi restaurant Uchi West Hollywood, known for giving an innovative twist to Japanese cuisine, as well as offering seasonal omakase.

The culinary tribute in question consisted of two pastries by her chef Ariana Quant: the fried milk dessert and the hot banana cake with Kahlúa ice cream, both of which were featured in the photos she posted the day before the album’s expected release. Beyoncé also included an image of herself sipping a drink in the establishment’s private dining room.

Uchi also wanted to share and echo this surprising news on Instagram, giddily writing: ‘No big deal, just @beyonce on #UchiWeHo for the ii COWBOY CARTER act 🐎 (We always knew fried milk was a star, but we’re glad Queen Bey approves too)’.
