Two Levira distillery tankers carrying a considerable volume of alcohol thus spilled into this small town, which is home to about 2,000 residents, during their journey after suffering a major explosion.

A video shared on X, shows the river of red wine running through the streets of the town, cascading down a hill, leaving its enclaves disabled by the great spirited surge.

In the aftermath, local authorities quickly sprang into action to divert the wine and prevent it from contaminating the nearby Certima River, while volunteer firefighters managed to drain the liquid and transport it to a sewage treatment plant.

No neighbors were injured as a result of the culinary accident, but the municipality of Anadia reported damage to roads and at least one residential basement near the warehouse.
