According to the Idaho Statesmen, customers experienced wait times of up to eight hours, as the state’s first In-N-Out location opened at 9 a.m., unusually earlier than other locations found primarily on the west coast.

Fans camped out in frigid weather, generating queues of up to eight hours at the drive-thru just to eat the ‘first’ cult burgers at this Idaho In-N-Out Burger. However, the long wait did not deter locals from waiting in line.

This establishment joins the famous burger joint’s sprawling constellation of 400 locations as it celebrates its 75th anniversary: a new milestone marked a month after it was announced that Albuquerque will have a location of the hallowed chain in 2026.
