The star of the nostalgic come backs is undoubtedly Cindy Crawford. The model is now trending again with the parody and/or recreation of her iconic 1992 Pepsi Super Bowl ad, in which she visited a decadent warehouse vending machine to sip a cold Pepsi while hypnotizing some kids standing around her.

The model last reimagined the Pepsi ad in September 2021 to raise money for the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

This remastering of the classic features the model alongside actress and comedian Angel Laketa Moore (That Chick Angel), who is behind the new viral track ‘One Margarita‘, also known as ‘Margarita’s song’, which has revolutionized TikTok with a whole maelstrom of covers even by the likes of Lizzo.

‘ONE MARGARITA’

In the clip, we can see Crawford jumping out of a convertible car wearing Daisy Duke’s recognizable white tank top and blue denim shorts, big gold hoop earrings and her hair slicked back, a reference to her appearance in the ’90s Pepsi ad.

Crawford then walks into a Mexican restaurant, surprising customers from the bar, while quickly sipping a margarita, made, of course, with Casamigos, the tequila brand co-founded by her husband, Rande Gerber. From that shot, a sequence ensues in which she presses the glass against her neck, and, suddenly, she is out of shot. She has just been hit on the hip by Moore, who says, “Give me a ‘Rita!” and starts dancing and singing her vibrant song.

With this new ad or spin-off, Crawford returns to alter both the music and advertising scene in an updated format with this iconic rap by Moore and the brand ‘Casamigos’ in order to revive the ad that would forever mark his career, and that of Pepsi.
