Anna Castillo explores a new creative avenue through the creation of a cocktail in collaboration with Italian bartender Davide Fracasso entitled ‘Glassy‘.

This liquid project is part of the brand’s ‘My Inspo, My Art‘ action, a global challenge presented by Baz Luhrmann that encourages consumers to draw inspiration from what surrounds them in order to create.

This cocktail dissolves the memories of the actress’s teenage summers, specifically in a village on the coast of Tarragona, La Rápita. Both the smell and the sound of the waves make up the elements that Castillo transfers to this drink, served in a glass that evokes a seashell, which combines Bombay Sapphire gin with citrus, seawater and tonic.

The exclusive drink will be available in Madrid and Barcelona until the end of March in selected venues such as Hotel Bless and Ginkgo Bar in the capital, and Nobu Hotel and Amar Restaurant in Barcelona.

How is it prepared?

The Glassy cocktail consists of 5 centilitres of Bombay Sapphire with a balanced amount of citrus and salt (90% lime cordial, 9% sea water, 1% kaffir lime juice). The gin is then mixed with lots of ice in the mixing glass. The result is then poured into the glass with ice and 2 centilitres of tonic are added. The final touch comes with a transparent lollipop that decorates the cocktail in the shape of a seashell.
