House of Guinness‘ is presented as the new historical saga that will follow the eccentric Guinness family, set in the 19th century between Dublin and New York. Steven Knight will thus version the fascinating story of one of the world’s greatest dynasties, amid scenes of murder, madness, tragedy and large sums of money.

The audiovisual work will begin after the death of Benjamin, the patriarch of the Guinness family who took the family brewery to the top. The series, which was revealed at London’s ‘Next on Netflix’ event, will also focus on his four adult children, exploring the profound impact that death had on their destiny, as well as other characters linked to the business.

In this sense, perhaps best explained by Netflix in the official synopsis of the series: “The story will focus on the aftermath of the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his shrewd will on the fate of his four adult children”.

House of Guinness‘ is now in the early stages of development, with no release date or cast revealed for the next audiovisual trend.
