We love fruits and especially fresh fruits that make more refreshing our summer days. We like them because they’re fresh, but also because they’re really tasty. But it is not always easy to pick them when in the grocery store and without anyone around to care and to help us to take with us the best piece. So, here you have 3 infallible steps that you should follow in order to pick the best fruit for this month: watermelon.

Size: Don’t trust really big watermelons with light weight

Colour: It would be better if it has yellow shades – that’s mean that watermelon has started to lose its chlorophyll, and it’ll be really sweet

Sound: When you hit it, the sound would be like an empty or hollow sound. That would mean that the watermelon is ready to eat.

Important: Watermelon is a fruit that last perfectly two weeks or even more. Keep it closed, in a fresh place without sunlight.

If you open it, you can keep it in the fridge, but take it out a few hours before you want to eat it, in order to get back its flavour and smell.
