Drinking games are a classic at parties or hangouts with friends. It is strange to meet them at an airport. This is what happened to a group of passengers who were stranded after a flight from Buffalo Airport was delayed.

At the same time, an NFL game was at stake involving Travis Kelce, an American football player who has been linked to the singer Taylor Swift, who often appears at his games, cheering on the footballer from the stands.

Travelers who were unlucky enough to see their flight delayed decided to go to an airport bar to watch the game. Among them was Jeff Darlington, an ESPN journalist and NFL expert. Darlington, to liven up the atmosphere, offered everyone there “a shot for every five times” that the television focused on Taylor Swift, and said so in a tweet.

In the video attached to his post on X, formerly Twitter, the journalist showed a cheerful crowd watching the football match between the New York Nets and Kansas City Chiefs. But those present were also happy about the shots that Darlington offered.

The problem arose later. When they were finally able to get on the plane after the long wait at the bar, according to the journalist, a passenger suffered nausea and ended up vomiting. “My fault?” Darlington later wondered in a tweet.

The flight was delayed again without it being very clear if the culprit of the passenger’s discomfort was really Darlington with his shots. Even though they kept asking him in the comments of the post, the journalist decided not to make any further comments.
