If a few months ago we talked about Kase O’s new project in the edible CBD sector, recently the rapper has also entered the world of mixology, becoming co-owner of the Moonlight (e)xperimental Bar cocktail bar in Zaragoza, together with bartender Borja Insa (recently awarded with the Revelation prize at Madrid Fusion) and Cristian Palacio, chef of the restaurant Gente Rara, which was the Golden T of Tapas Magazine 2022 in Aragon.
In recent months, Moonlight has become one of the trendiest cocktail bars in Zaragoza, thanks to a proposal that combines cocktails, good food and music, as well as other elements that provide an experience for all the senses. In fact, the Moonlight trio participated in a presentation at Madrid Fusión entitled ‘Sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch and little hurry’, in which they delved into this original concept and analyzed how the apparently secondary elements such as music, aromas or lighting, had as much prominence as the cocktails themselves.
The renewed Moonlight
Both Kase O and Cristian Palacio joined Borja Insa to give a twist to the initial concept of Moonlight, which had been open for a few years, but now Insa wanted to completely renovate it by offering a 360 experience that goes beyond the cocktail bar. And it seems that the change is going perfectly. In his recent participation in Madrid Fusion, Insa was recognized as Best New Bartender, being the first to win this award.
To this proposal of signature cocktails unique in the city of Zaragoza, Cristian Palacio adds a plus with the gastronomic section, offering a menu of tapas that perfectly complement the liquid section. Palacio and Insa have already joined forces on previous occasions.
In addition, the musical part is in charge of the rapper Kase O, who puts soundtrack to the local giving great importance to the sound, for which he had a sound engineer who perfectly conditioned the premises.
