1. Turkey Dressing

As it could not be otherwise, the most searched recipe has to do with turkey. This time it is Turkey Dressing, a turkey stuffed with a sage and apple sauce, which drives many people crazy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of corn bread
  • 1 loaf ciabatta
  • 1 loaf baguette
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 large onion
  • 5 celery stalks
  • 500 ml chicken broth
  • 1 bunch chopped parsley
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Salt, pepper, thyme and basil to taste

Preparation:

  • First you have to prepare the bread, a day or two before cooking the sauce. Chop the bread into cubes, and cover them with a kitchen towel, leaving them to dry for 24 to 48 hours, so that they remain crunchy.
  • Then, in a frying pan put the butter and cook the finely chopped onions and celery for 3 minutes. Then add all the spices along with the chicken stock, salt and pepper. Stir well.
  • When you have the stale bread, put it in a bowl and pour the contents of the pan, stirring well so that everything is integrated.
  • You can put the mixture in the cavity of the turkey or bake it independently for half an hour at 180º C, or until it is golden and crispy.
