Enjoying a gastronomic evening in a restaurant is always a luxury, but if you have the opportunity to prepare the menu yourself, thanks to the instructions of great chefs and do it in a group accompanied by friends, the experience becomes even better. This is what happens in culinary workshops that bring you closer to the kitchen in a fun way while learning new techniques. One of the few restaurants that offers this type of experience is Ginkgo LAB Madroño, located in the VP Madroño hotel. It is a place that goes beyond what is a restaurant, to become a multidisciplinary space where gastronomy merges with workshops, events and immersive experiences.

The restaurant organizes weekly workshops ranging from Mexican cuisine to cocktails, sushi or Italian food. Taught by renowned chefs and bartenders, attendees have the opportunity to learn new techniques, learn different tips to put them into practice at home and, above all, have a fun time in the best company.

Learn how to make homemade guacamole and tortilla chips

For example, in the Mexican cuisine workshop, you will discover some basic notions about this type of gastronomy, you will also learn and execute the cuts of the different ingredients; and you will prepare hand in hand with the rest of your colleagues typical dishes such as guacamole, pico de gallo, aguachile, cochinita pibil or you can even make your own homemade tortilla chips.

In this plan, of course, also comes into play the assembly of the dishes themselves and the best: their subsequent tasting. Because when you see the preparation step by step, the food is much more enjoyable, especially if accompanied by a good cocktail pigeon. The workshops usually last 2 hours and the price of each one is 60 € per person. They are usually held on Thursday, Friday or Saturday afternoons. You can check the next workshops on their website.
