The fourth season of ‘The Bear’ will premiere at the end of June to satisfy the audiovisual hunger of its community. Now, the trailer has just been unveiled that gives us a glimpse of some of the plots and/or dramas of the upcoming episodes of the hit culinary series.
The trailer focuses on the financial aspect of running a restaurant, highlighting a large and decadent clock in the kitchen that marks the countdown. In this sense, we can see how in one of the clips, Oliver Platt’s Uncle Jimmy tells Carmy that when the clock reaches zero, The Bear will have to close its doors, putting an end to that faithful portrayal generated in fiction of the kitchen in real life, and its tense and stressful atmosphere.
With a combined total of over $800,000 owed between their initial $300,000 loan to help open the restaurant and another $500,000 for renovations made in season two, the stakes are high and it’s up to The Bear’s motley crew to keep the restaurant afloat or see it disappear forever.
In the midst of that relentless fight against time, the group must take care of the diners at their fine dining restaurant, while battling their own personal challenges and chaos on that road to absolute success. In fact, the trailer opens with a voiceover from Carmy stating, “People go to restaurants to be taken care of, to relax and not think about anything else for a few minutes.”
