From Tapas we compile the best plans with which to enjoy the weekend in Madrid, and relegate ourselves to hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, parties, events and museums. Take the agenda and take note of our weekly proposal.

FRIDAY 14TH

We start the weekend disconnecting from the reality of work with an elusive plan that channels the Sala Siroco through a series of concerts and exhibitions. Within this artistic space, we can visit the exhibition of Loreto Manzarena, the artist and creative director who will exhibit a series of her pop illustrations, mostly inspired by the world of gastronomy.

After having immersed ourselves in this cultural experience, we’ll order some gourmet burgers from Vicio a domicilio, and head to the Antidote party at Sala Moondance. This Friday, the party of the new generations that is disrupting the clubbing scene with its trap, reggaeton, techno or dancehall sounds, will feature the dj set of the Parisian creative label 99GINGER, known for organizing multi-genre events full of enjoyment and energy. SATURDAY 15TH

We woke up lethargic on Saturday, but we quickly activated to go eat with friends the trendy entrecote of the capital at Café de Paris. In this place that has an interior design and aesthetics that takes us to a French bistro, among vintage style lamps, retro posters and a beautiful checkerboard floor, we will be served the iconic entrecote known worldwide for its famous sauce of which we only know that it has butter, spices, liquors and certain aromatic herbs. The rest is an enigma.

This Saturday afternoon we can’t miss the first edition of “COLLUSION” at the Black Gallery: a synergistic collision of different disciplines and ideologies, between art talks, drinks and good music. A cycle in which we can receive creative stimuli and inspiration from the works of Nicoläs Villamizar, the iconic artist who performs under the nickname @acondieresis, as well as those of street artist Piroeh One (@piroeh_one). Where? At Studiä C, Juan Zofio 14.

SUNDAY 16TH

On Sunday, having had breakfast under the light of the morning twilight, we decided to enter the real-food universe of Honest Greens to taste some of their healthy creations, and continue feeding ourselves with art and design at Casa Decor.

This year, the setting for this design and interior design fair will once again be this unique 1929 building located in the heart of the Salamanca district. Its interior is divided into 50 sub-spaces that will house the new trends in interior decoration by 55 interior designers and studios, with around 150 brands involved, exploring everything from materials to design and new technologies. Where? At Calle Serrano 92.

To close this weekend in style, we decided to soar up to the new rooftop 40/42 of the Mexican restaurant Ticuí. An emerging space signed by JS studio that combines signature cocktails and design in a unique concept overlooking the sky.

There we can taste some of their cocktails made with natural products, local and seasonal aromatic plants such as the “Bendito Juárez” composed of sotol, pink pepper, vermouth rosso, sweet amaro and corn hairs or the “Mezcal Julep” with mezcal, herbal liqueur, lemon, mint and agave liqueur. Where? On the seventh floor of Calle Cedaceros, 6.
