From Tapas we compile the best plans with which to enjoy the most of the weekend in Barcelona, and relegate ourselves to hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, parties, events and museums. Take the agenda and take note of our weekly proposal.

FRIDAY 23RD

We will escape the weekend in the tapas and natural wine bar of reference in the city, called Sra. Dolores. In this establishment culinary directed by Mathieu Perez, orchestrated around an infinite steel bar and a unique churrera, highlights the fried author, as its battered and crispy lasagna, its churros de patata bravo, fried gnocchi or fried stewed lentils with which it offers an avant-garde twist to tradition.

In addition, the menu also includes a large raw food section to accompany its extensive selection of organic and natural wines.

At nightfall, we will head to one of our favorite electronic clubs: Sala Apolo. There we will activate the ritual of clubbing the Nitsa party that will feature the presence of Dekmantel, the flagship of the Dutch electronic scene that has configured the following line up Karenn live / Identified Patient b2b mad. SATURDAY 24TH

On Saturday afternoon we will return to Casa Montjuïc, which will host the audiovisual performance by artists Serafín Álvarez and Roc Jiménez de Cisneros under the framework of SPELL + Y€$$i PERSE, who propose an imaginary world populated by objects that are familiar and strange at the same time.

Roc Jiménez de Cisneros explores the processes of deformation, both literally and metaphorically, in graphic pieces, light installations, essays and, especially, music. His recordings as part of the group EVOL have been released on labels such as iDEAL.’ Previously he will enter the stage ¥€$Si PERSE, which will propose an interface that allows its users to enter alternative narratives.

The evening gala will be served by umami x raw studio through an innovative concept that includes umami food and natural wines within its cozy cafe and brunch space located in the heart of Sarrià – Sant Gervasi. The evening will deploy a menu as a collective gastronomic experience in which to enjoy some elaborations such as slow-cooked brisket, shrimp rolls, brioche and browned butter, or a succulent caramel flan and crumble.

SUNDAY 25TH

On Sunday we will eat at The Green Spot, the vegetarian restaurant where you can enjoy eating vegetables. Located in Port Vell, it is presented as a ‘Veggie for veggies veggie for non veggies’ space designed by Isay Weinfeld, one of the greatest figures of Brazilian architecture, which stands out for its creativity and innovation in the field.

The Green Spot has a new menu based on seasonal products orchestrated around dishes to share and individual dishes designed by its new chef Leandro Ortega, who creates a perfect tandem with the restaurant manager Gloria Tornè.

In his seasonal proposal, elaborations such as beet and goat cheese risotto, portobello Katsu sando or kimchi marinated endive tempura with avocado and lime sauce emerge; which coexist with the restaurant’s classic or permanent dishes: The sweet potato tagliatelle with macadamia sauce and black truffle, the maitake mushrooms with baked eggplant or the organic jackfruit, pico de gallo and guacamole tacos with which you will enjoy eating vegetables!

The vegetarian restaurant also offers as a novelty a cocktail menu that distills elaborations such as the ‘Kimchy Mary’, with Finnish vodka, kimchi sauce, tomato juice, lemon, salt and pepper or the ‘Mezcalit’, with mezcal, guava juice, jalapeños and lime juice.

We will close the weekend in fiction key with the film ‘Poor Things‘ by Giórgos Lánthimos at MOOBY Aribau – Aribau Cinema. A film defined as a feminist apology starring Emma Stone, which again projects the art of provocation of the Greek filmmaker based on a story in which Dr. Godwin resurrects the young Bella Baxter to learn at his side. However, she flees in the company of a lawyer in a whirlwind adventure across continents in which she will defend equality above all else and free herself from all the prejudices of her time.
