Here at Tapas we’ve compiled the best plans to make the most of the weekend in Barcelona and indulge in hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, festivals, events and museums. Grab your diary and take note of our weekly proposal.

FRIDAY 9TH

Valentine’s Day is approaching, and despite the scepticism you may or may not feel towards this date, everyone will want to show their love on Friday night to one person. And that’s Bad Gyal.

The queen of reggaeton and dancehall continues her 24 Karts Tour for ‘La Joia‘, the Catalan’s first debut studio album with which she has once again eclipsed the urban scene with mythical collaborations with Ñengo Flow, Tokischa, Young Miko and Morad. A key event that, of course, we won’t miss. Get your pass here.

With excitement running high, we’ll continue the party by celebrating carnival at Mainline Club: Carnival staged in the legendary Sala La Paloma.

The Mainline collective, as a reference in the avant-garde electronic scene in Barcelona, in which international DJs, producers and labels collaborate, will bring together this Friday in the same aggressive ritual with Toccororo, Daniel 2000, John Heaven, Nile Fee and Anruna.

SATURDAY 10TH

Saturday morning will be dedicated to rest and relaxation, to renew energy from the healthy sphere at enlagloria salad house. The temple of salads now offers the best of Japan and @el_puto_ken in a salad dedicated to gastronomy and art.

Following their trail of collaborations with chefs or creatives who inspire them, they now create this exclusive salad with the Japanese artist and chef Ken to present the Kenchi Salad and the Dashi Broth. There we will taste the salad made with Japanese ingredients such as basmati rice, baked salmon with a teriyaki sauce, marinated mushrooms and shitakes, avocado, pickled radish, toasted sesame and an Asian vinaigrette.

As dusk falls, we will reactivate the party mode at Oldskool RnB Bcn – St. Valentine. There we will celebrate love at the first official Oldskool Rnb party in Spain, together with 90s/2000s Riddim lovers for their Valentine’s Day Edition. Where? At 13-15 Plaça Reial.

SUNDAY 11TH

On Sunday we will dress up for lunch at Veraz restaurant, located in The Barcelona EDITION. There we will taste the collaborative menu created with Martina Puigvert from Les Cols restaurant, chef awarded by the Michelin Guide.

The hotel presents this edition in 2024, which will display a series of dishes designed by the chef, focusing on local and sustainable produce, with the orchards of La Garrotxa as the point of origin. Delicious dishes with the freshest ingredients will be available until the end of April at Veraz, alongside its own menu designed by chef Pedro Tassarolo.

In the afternoon, we will visit the àngels barcelona gallery, which focuses on the debate on culture and contemporary artistic practices.

There we will be able to appreciate his compilation of avant-garde works, some of which deal with structural levels that question value as products. Where? In calle Pintor Fortuny, 27.
