In an interview with ‘W Magazine‘ shared alongside Margot Robbie, the iconic actor spoke about his strong baking skills. ‘I make an amazing cake,’ Gosling replied, causing Robbie to gasp.
Ryan went on to explain that his favourite flavour is raspberry and that he took to baking thanks to his mother, Donna. My mum was a baker and I’ve been lucky enough to inherit the baking gene,’ he said.
At that statement, Robbie couldn’t hide his surprise and joked: ‘It hurts that I’ve never made one’.
Gosling continued to address the issue, and not exactly as an amateur. ‘I flute my bark too, so don’t let anyone tell you I don’t!’ he laughed, ‘It’s when you pulverise the edges and it’s like a nice little, almost like a braid.’
While this facet may seem unusual to most, Gosling’s partner Eva Mendes spoke about Gosling’s culinary skills a few years ago, telling PEOPLE in 2022 that the ‘La La Land’ star was a genius in the kitchen. Ryan is the cook. He’s an amazing cook.
