Robert Downey Jr. adds a new gastro project: he has just launched the Happy coffee brand

The actor and foodie has teamed up with entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky to create a new line of instant coffees.

Robert Downey Jr. is living one of his best professional moments. We are not only talking about his artistic career, but also as an entrepreneur in the gastronomic sector. If a few days ago we echoed the publication of his book on sustainable food, now the Oscar nominee for best supporting actor thanks to his role in Oppenheimer, has also just launched his own brand of coffee, along with entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky.

Called Happy, it is a new line of instant coffees, which offers single-dose, whole and ground beans, and is 100% Arabica coffee in light, medium and dark roasts. It is also focused on responsible and sustainably sourced cultivation, working with farmers in Central and South America, including those certified by the Rainforest Alliance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As he stated in the same media, the actor is a great coffee lover. “Coffee is a perfect substance. It is magical, consistent and legal”. With this new project, Robert Downey Jr. is also continuing his solidarity work, as Happy has partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the largest grassroots mental health organization in the United States. Their motto for the partnership is “Let’s share a cup of coffee and talk about mental wellness.
