First sour, then sweet. This is how the tiktokers define the flavour notes of this new experimental iteration of the US brand alongside the popular Sour Patch Kids candies.

At first glance, these tan-coloured, white-filled biscuits could be mistaken for vanilla cookies. However, when you zoom in a little, you can see the rainbow speckles representing the ‘sour sugar inclusions’ that contrast with the sweetness of their golden exterior and creamy interior.

It’s a bittersweet juxtaposition of whimsy that also carries over into a collection of merchandise that can be styled in its entirety: from a beanie, fanny pack to socks, hair clip and tracksuit in the collaborative theme filled with vibrant colours and Sour Patch Kids mascots.

The new sour Oreo biscuits are available to buy online now in the US, and will hit supermarket and grocery shop shelves from 6 May.
