Familia Fernández Rivera is present at Madrid Fusión 2023, one of the largest gastronomic congresses at national level and with wide international recognition. The wine group has chosen this meeting to carry out the first historical tasting of Alenza, from Condado de Haza winery, in the Madrid Fusión Wine Edition tasting room, an event attended by 45 people.

The wine group has chosen Madrid Fusión as the ideal setting for the first historic tasting of Alenza, one of its most special wines, a unique Gran Reserva that can only be made in very special vintages, from the Viña Valera vineyard, which is made in the traditional way, fermenting the must with the stems, without prior destemming.

Specifically, the tasting organized by Familia Fernández Rivera has been made of Alenza 1995, Alenza 1999, Alenza 2001, Alenza 2006 and Alenza 2018. In addition, Familia Fernández Rivera is also present in the speakers’ room with 20 Aldeas, from Condado de Haza winery, Dehesa la Granja and Alejairen, from El Vínculo winery.

Familia Fernández Rivera is consolidated as a company in which each business unit has its own personality and prominence. The wineries Tinto Pesquera, Condado de Haza, Dehesa de la Granja and El Vínculo, and the Hotel AF Pesquera make up the structure of a group that aspires to continue to be a reference in the Spanish and international wine sector. If anything defines Familia Fernández Rivera, it is the love for the land from which its wines are born. The current heads of this wine group feel an infinite pride towards Ribera del Duero. That is why their motto is “Passion for wine and the land”.
