The avant-garde cuisine of the acclaimed London restaurant “Ikoyi” travels to Seoul with Louis Vuitton. An event that marks the third chapter in a series of ephemeral experiences organized at the luxury brand’s Maison Seoul.

“Ikoyi at Louis Vuitton” takes its visitors through LV’s legendary “Art of Travel”, based on the culinary techniques representative of Ikoyi London, the restaurant run by the chef and ideologist of the two-Michelin-starred space, Jeremy Chan.

Chan presents a distinctive “capsule” menu in which he harmoniously fuses his progressive restaurant philosophy through a minimalist iteration of Korean cuisine with a strong focus on seasonal produce as well as diverse global cultural references.

The entire dining experience unfolds amidst a Frank Gehry-designed architectural work by Maison Seoul’s Frank Gehry, amid consecutive curved wood panels from wall to ceiling, and wood and marble tables that connect with Louis Vuitton’s aesthetic sensibility and commitment to fashion, innovation and excellence.

Also on display at “Ikoyi at Louis Vuitton” are several “Nomad objects” that were presented at Milan Design Week last April, such as the “Quetzal by Atelier Oï”: a large decorative mobile inspired by the striking plumage of South American birds, which contrasts visually with the minimalist design of the restaurant that will be open until June 15.
