You’ll never drink cognac the same way again after the LaQuan Smith x Louis XIII collaboration. The New York ready-to-wear designer has explored a new creative avenue to dilute a spirit that combines his characteristic elegance and sensuality.
He channels all this into a collection of accessories to accompany the cognac experience, such as the ‘Chain Pouch’ necklace with a silver chain in which to hold a bottle of Louis XIII The Drop, or the opera gloves that pay tribute to the traditional LOUIS XIII white-glove service.
The sophistication of the LaQuan Smith Woman conveys that timeless glamour, which, according to the creative director, connects with the blended heritage. From being a Louis XIII cognac drinker himself to meeting the team in France to kick-start the collaboration, Smith details the excitement he feels about this union.
The exclusive edition accessories will be available for around $2,140 on the brand’s website and will also include five multi-coloured 10ml bottles of Louis XIII cognac in a Louis XIII: THE DROP Collection Box.
