Krispy Kreme‘s collaborations span the cultural and artistic spectrum: from film to beauty to the world of gaming, as has been the case with its latest foray. The NY-based chain has partnered with video game giant Bandai Namco Entertainment America to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Pac-Man by creating three new flavors.
This nostalgic collection consists of a ‘PAC-MAN Party Doughnut‘, a doughnut with yellow buttercream frosting, topped with shavings and a PAC-MAN in XXL format. Then there’s the ‘TEAM GHOST Doughnut‘ unfrosted shell filled with chocolate-flavored Kreme, the brand’s signature buttercream, dipped in matte black frosting and decorated with a PAC-MAN maze and Team Ghost pieces. Finally, the strawberry ‘Power Berry‘ unfrosted strawberry-flavored Kreme-filled frosting, dipped in red icing and topped with white sprinkles and green leaves.

“This year marks an incredible milestone as we celebrate Pac-Man’s legacy and 45 years of impact,” said Karim Farghaly, senior vice president of business innovation and licensing at Bandai Namco, in a statement. “We are thrilled to partner with Krispy Kreme, another beloved iconic brand, to deliver a sweet experience that fans can enjoy just in time for Pac-Man Day.”
The Krispy Kreme x Pac-Man collaboration is available now at its stores, either individually or by the dozen with which to activate the ‘multiplayer’ mode. Six-packs are also available at select retailers.
