McDonald’s partners with DJ Kerwin Frost to create the ‘Kerwin Frost Box’: a special box that includes 10 chicken McNuggets, a Big Mac and fries, a drink and a modern version of the ‘McNugget Buddies‘.

The chain continues to resurrect its old mascots and toys as a nostalgia-driven revival. One that now features a new adult iteration of Happy Meal toy favourites from the 80s and 90s, featuring the fantastic cast of Don Bernice, Uptown Moe, Waffutu, BRRRICK, Darla and, of course, Kerwin Frost.

So, after 24 years, the buddies return with an updated redesign that is now part of the imaginary world Frost created for the chain, which pays homage to his childhood.

I’ve loved McDonald’s since I was a kid. I even had my own Ronald McDonald doll, which I wore to picture day at school, and my dream was to collect all the McNugget Buddies,’ says Frost. ‘Now, to have my own special set of Buddies, each representing different aspects of self-expression, is unreal, a dream come true. McDonald’s has been a great partner from day one, and they’ve really allowed me to create without limits’.

The magical menu framed in the Kerwin Frost Box will be released on 11 December in McDonald’s restaurants across the US.
