How to prepare ‘The Bear’ omelette with chips and butter

We continue to warm up for the expected premiere in Spain of the second season of ‘The Bear’. If a few days ago we told you about all the dishes that will appear in the new batch of chapters, today we bring you one of the most viral recipes of the Hulu Originals series. It is the French omelette with potato chips, cheese, chives and butter. We show you the recipe we have seen in The Washington Post so you can also prepare it at home.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 knob unsalted butter
  • 30 g cheese spread
  • Finely chopped chives
  • Potato chips
  • Ground black pepper

Preparation:

  • To beat the eggs, place a mesh strainer inside the bowl and beat the eggs in the strainer until the liquid passes through. Remove the strainer and add a pinch of salt.
  • Pour the butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat and while it melts, spread it all over the pan.
  • Add the eggs and stir constantly with a spatula to cook the omelet. When the eggs are almost set but still moist on top, flatten the omelet and place the cheese portions in a line.
  • With the spatula, fold the tortilla with the cheese towards the center so that it is well covered.
  • Spread the top with butter. Then add the chives, black pepper and sprinkle with the crushed potato chips.
