Koy could not resist criticising the attempt at diversity with sushi from acclaimed Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa‘s Nobu restaurant, pointing out that the Globes could not get geographically close to serving food that honoured their own Filipino heritage, and instead focused on a dish from a country almost 3,000 kilometres away: Japanese sushi.
