Master blender Emma Walker and Grammy award-winning producer and DJ Honey Dijon tap into the flavours, textures and blends of Johnnie Walker Blue Label’s new ‘Elusive Mumami’ whisky to produce a new track to pair the drink to perfection.

That blend of taste and sound is distilled into the song ‘Earthly Delights‘, which is also accompanied by a music video to further intensify and enhance the exhilarating drinking experience.

The artist and fashion icon thus draws inspiration from the new whisky’s flavour profiles to create her melodies: from its notes of blood orange and red berries with sweet wood spice to its hint of smoky meat that she ultimately translates through the musical realm.

The creative process is structured around PlantWave™ technology, which extracts vibrational sounds from the oak used to mature the whisky. These biorhythms result in deep, atmospheric rhythms that are carefully interwoven with the DJ’s signature playful music to create ‘Earthly Delights’.

I pride myself on being a sound storyteller. Transforming biorhythms into music was something I was interested in because music and rhythm exist in all parts of life. Creating music from plants added a random dimension to my process, which was great,’ Dijon says of this strong collaborative synchronicity between music and whisky.
