Álex González, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Griezmann, Llorente and Roncero join forces to open Rhudo restaurant

This constellation of stars collides in the new restaurant and club of reference in the capital.

Spanish chef Paco Roncero has teamed up with actors Álex González and Miguel Ángel Silvestre, and Atlético de Madrid footballers Antoine Griezmann and Marcos Llorente to open Madrid’s hottest new restaurant and club.

Rhudo is the project that has connected them, located in the heart of the Salamanca district with capacity for 300 diners, as a gastronomic institution in which Roncero will fuse Mediterranean and Latin cuisine in a tasty menu perfect for sharing in the middle of a minimalist design space devised by Archidom Studio.

Gastronomy, art and leisure

The kitchen will be run by the two Michelin-starred Paco Roncero, who has designed the menu with a philosophy that moves away from the avant-garde cuisine for which he is best known to sign a proposal that unites Mediterranean and Latin cuisine, with a strong influence from countries such as Mexico, Venezuela and Colombia.

Rhudo Madrid’s gastronomic proposal will also be co-directed by Bruno Serenelli, as head waiter, and the Italian sommelier Angelo Casali, who come to the capital from Lío Ibiza.

Casali will be in charge of a cellar with more than 500 references, made up equally of national and international labels, from the best producers in Spain, Italy and France to the New World (Australia, Argentina, South Africa, United States, etc.).

In addition, the red and white Llorente and Griezmann, recognised wine lovers, have contributed some of their favourites to the menu, such as Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 2012, different vintages of Vega Sicilia Único or icons from Château Petrus or Château Margaux.

The idyllic team at Rhudo Madrid is completed by mixologist Miguel Pastor, a regular at the best cocktail competitions worldwide and responsible here for a selection of signature cocktails designed to pair with the culinary offerings.

In addition to being a gastronomic temple during the day, with lunch and dinner service, Rhudo will be activated as a club with DJs to dance the night away.
