The Sevillian chef Rafa Zafra is growing in Spain with the opening of Casa de Comidas, his new restaurant in Madrid, which is located in the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding hotel, according to a press release.
With this new opening, Zafra already has ‘Estimar’, which has locations in Barcelona and Madrid, ‘Rural’, dedicated to meat in Madrid, the ‘chiringuito’ ‘Jondal’ in Ibiza, the restaurant ‘Amar’ in the Palace Hotel in Barcelona.
In addition, the opening of Casa de Comidas comes with the recently renovated NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding hotel, which consolidates it as one of the gastronomic epicentres in the capital, as, since its opening, the hotel has hosted internationally renowned proposals that are part of the culinary scene.
In this way, the new space is marked with Zafra’s seal of identity, which defends “a traditional cuisine with sophisticated and hedonistic touches that turn the traditional into avant-garde”. Thus, the gastronomic proposal is prepared with the best seasonal produce, but always treated with the utmost respect, according to the establishment.
It also has a wine list featuring the main Spanish designations of origin, which share the limelight with champagnes from major houses, sparkling wines, whites and rosés.
