The Princess of Asturias Awards became the prelude to this gastronomic meeting, where Meryl Streep attended to receive her ‘Arts Award’, capturing all eyes with regional dances, laughter, emotional scenes and conversations shared with Antonio Banderas.

The duo would star in these key moments at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Oviedo through a colloquium that would have a second culinary part, specifically at Casa Fermín.

After the awards, the actors dined with other personalities at this legendary restaurant in Oviedo that reinterprets tradition through innovation and the avant-garde. A meeting that revealed all the sequences of this purely Asturian gastronomic experience, which began with starters of lobster salpicon, pickled wings and anchovies with Afuega’l Pitu cheese cream.

Afterwards, the actors enjoyed a Cudillero hake skewer with collagen emulsion and tomato ratatouille in an iconic evening that ended with a Milhojas of white chocolate and Casadielles, one of the restaurant’s star desserts.
