Carrefour has started the year with good news for its regular customers. It has announced that during this 2024 will permanently lower the price of about 500 products of its private label, as reported by the company in a statement. With this measure, some products will drop by up to 13%.
Among the half thousand items that will be reduced, there are food products, liquids, drugstore, perfumery and babies, all of them of more frequent purchase. In addition, Carrefour has also stressed that the price reduction will also be compatible with other savings measures already in place in supermarkets.

Carrefour will implement it permanently, with which it intends to help customers in the current situation of constant price increases, in a strategy “to protect the purchasing power of consumers and make the best products available to all households”. In this way, it will also give a blow on the table with respect to other competitors such as Lidl or Mercadona.
Carrefour currently manages 203 hypermarkets in Spain, in addition to 156 Carrefour Market supermarkets, 1,056 Carrefour Express supermarkets and 63 Supeco supermarkets, together with its online store.
