Camila Cabello becomes the global ambassador of Bacardi

The pop star stars in the first campaign for the rum brand inspired by her new song ‘I Luv It’.

The iconic spirits brand is partnering with Camila Cabello to open a new era in its legacy. Ron Bacardí brings the artist to its stage as its global image, giving way to a collaboration framed in the ‘Do What Moves You‘ project.

In this first campaign, the actress and singer stars in a spot set to her new hyper-pop track ‘I Luv It‘, which reflects her timeless connection with the brand. I’m excited about this collaboration. Bacardi has always been the ultimate rum brand for me. For me, this brand is synonymous with the spirit of the Caribbean and, of course, good cocktails and a great party. The campaign we have worked on is unlike any project I have done before. I can’t wait for the fans to enjoy and experience it,’ says Camila Cabello about this featuring commercial.

Through this synchronisation around their shared Caribbean heritage and love of music, they celebrate the spirit of Cabello’s music and passion for uniting their community through self-expression. A high-frequency energy is conveyed in the clip directed by Nicolas Mendez, co-founder of Canada, who has worked with the likes of Rosalia, Travis Scott and Tame Impala.

His cinematic and irreverent vision shows the pop star moving to the rhythm of her song in various scenarios that culminate in a big party where they toast with Bacardi cocktails.

Crafted by Camila Cabello herself, the drink offers a twist on the classic rum punch, combining Bacardi Carta Blanca with some of her favourite ingredients such as passion fruit nectar, fresh lime juice, elderflower liqueur, coconut water and St Germain.
