Blake Lively launches a new line of cocktails in cans

After creating the Betty Buzz brand of low-calorie, non-alcoholic soft drinks almost two years ago, the actress has just launched a new line of canned cocktails called Betty Booze.

In September 2021, Blake Lively ventured out by launching her own brand of beverages, Betty Buzz. These are non-alcoholic, low-calorie sparkling soft drinks, which include flavors such as Tonic Water, Meyer Lemon Club Soda, Grapefruit, Lemon-Lime or Ginger Beer. On the brand’s website, the actress confesses that she didn’t drink. “I don’t drink. “I know it’s strange coming from the wife of a famous gin drinker,” she jokes. But, after many years preparing cocktails for others, Blake Lively has decided to go a step further in her brand and create Betty Booze.

The “big sister” of her first products features homemade cocktails with gourmet ingredients and, this time, they do contain alcohol (4.5%). Blake Lively has decided to create three flavors made with sparkling water, real juice and premium spirits, but without artificial flavorings, colorings or sweeteners.

On the one hand, there is the Bourbon flavor, a sparkling drink with apple, ginger and sour cherry. There is also the sparkling Tequila with lemonade. And closing the trio, Lively has created Sparkling Tequila with lime and shiso. In keeping with her teetotal message, the actress includes this new message on her website: “Drinking isn’t my thing. But taste is. Homemade recipes. Real fruit. Real ingredients. Quality alcohol. No junk. Also a real time saver. Which is why I really did it.
