In this edition of the prestigious haute cuisine awards “The World’s Best 50 Restaurants” held this year in London on 1st June, a Spanish winery has been selected, for the first time, as the official wine supplier: the Extremadura-based Pago Los Balancines.
This event is the presentation of the awaited list holding the names of the 50 best restaurants in the world in 2015, which is chosen by a jury of over 900 international cuisine experts. Chefs, experts, journalists and visitors will come together in the British capital to hear the final vote of the jury while they savour the best selection of wines from this Spanish winery.
The use of Pago Los Balancines during this event is considered by the winery to be a golden opportunity to improve the international standing of wine from the region of Extremadura, something they have been working on for years, as they themselves have stated.
The final selection of wines to be tasted by visitors will be announced shortly by the winery.
