A 360-degree terrace in Madrid

Lorenzo is here to stay (that is, the sun). And with the good weather we are getting in the Spanish capital we are incapable of shutting ourselves inside a bar, even though it might be the greatest place around. That’s why it’s time for terraces, patios and cocktails, and why not? A tour around this glorious city.

The terrace of the Hotel The Principal is now open and with summer just around the corner we can start enjoying it before it officially gets here on the 7th floor of this hotel.

The marvellous structure of this terrace allows its clients a 360-degree view and apart from this privileged perspective of the city, the terrace has a large gardened area to help you evade from the stress of the city.

It’s not only a building situated on Gran Via 2 (entrance on Calle Marqués de Valdeiglesias 1) with fabulous views, at the terrace of The Principal you can also eat and drink from the menu designed by the Michelin-starred chef Ramón Freixa.

Time is not a problem at the terrace of The Principal – from 12am to 12pm you can enjoy food and drink at this area. Due to these ample opening hours you can lunch, snack, dine or drink a cocktail, depending on the time that adjusts better to your (very busy) life. From Thursdays to Saturdays the terrace is open until 2am, which allows you to warm up the engine before you explore the Madrid nightlife with delicious cocktails.

Ramón Freixa has created a menu with “finger food” for the terrace of this hotel that offers exquisite options that can be enjoyed all day long, together with a selection of sweets and ice creams.

If you want to feel closer to the sky of Madrid, you simply can’t miss the season at the terrace of the Hotel The Principal.
