Two decades after the sitcom set one of its episodes in Chili’s<\/strong>, the restaurant where Michael Scott<\/strong> handed out dundie awards to his employees, two of its most iconic characters have just helped make a branch of the chain a reality in Scranton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same place where this mockumentary, which continues to captivate new generations, was filmed, is now home to a new restaurant in honour of \u2018The Office<\/strong>\u2019. To make it happen, the chain has collaborated with none other than actors Brian Baumgartner and Kate Flannery, presented as ambassadors who have also been involved in creating special menus inspired by the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Chili’s in Dickson City<\/strong>, located about 10 km north of Scranton, will open its doors on 7 April so that fans can recreate some of its most legendary scenes. In addition, this location serves as an added connection to the other bars or restaurants featured in the American sitcom, as this branch will look exactly like the one that appeared on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chili’s tribute<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The aesthetic and interior of the venue will thus be filled with nods and decorative elements unique to Chili’s<\/strong> in Scranton<\/strong>. This will include a chalk mural created by the original Chili’s artist from the early 2000s who worked on the series, as well as vintage artwork, Chili’s tile tables, and an official business lunch station so you can sample your Triple Dipper there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, this restaurant will be the only one to include on the menu the fandom’s favourite: the Awesome Blossom, which disappeared from the menu some time ago. And to close the circle, Flannery has launched its $5 \u2018Scranton Marg\u2019 which has just diluted the synergy with the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, on 7 April, Chili’s Scranton Branch will be making a pair of T-shirts available for sale to celebrate the opening of the brand’s new location.
