Anyone following the new season of the hit social satire set in the resort of \u2018The White Lotus<\/strong>\u2019 will know that his character Saxon Ratliff <\/strong>is constantly drinking protein shakes. He even encourages his brother Lochy to do the same in order to follow his \u2018fitness lifestyle\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patrick Schwarzenegger <\/strong>recently had a conversation with EatingWell <\/em>about the shakes and the diet he follows to stay energised between scenes. The reality is that during the seven-month shoot, the actor only drank one smoothie: \u2018We didn’t really drink a lot, but we drank the ones that were on set from time to time, when we would mix them up\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mike [White] was very amused by the amount of protein powder I put in the shake. He’d record it and he’d say, \u2018Keep putting more in, put more in. It’s so funny when you put eight scoops of protein in,’ and then it would end up tasting like chalk. It was horrible. But I like smoothies, they’re a refreshing, delicious snack.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
