It is a paradigm we face as technology moves into a bewildering future largely shaped by artificial intelligence tools, big tech companies or global economic powers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@uksnackattack\/video\/7437884680050953504\" data-video-id=\"7437884680050953504\" data-embed-from=\"oembed\" style=\"max-width:605px; min-width:325px;\"> <section> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@uksnackattack\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@uksnackattack?refer=embed\">@uksnackattack<\/a> <p>All I want is Green Slime Ketchup! Shame its a Snackfish and not real! <\/p> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"\u266c All I Want for Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/music\/All-I-Want-for-Christmas-Is-You-222454852260487168?refer=embed\">\u266c All I Want for Christmas Is You &#8211; Mariah Carey<\/a> <\/section> <\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/embed.js\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Within this futuristic macro-trend, there is one particular concept that would lead us to reflect on the products we consume online. And that is snackfishing, created by Australian Benji, who operates online under the nickname @uksnackattack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The user&#8217;s project focuses on fake viral products from a perspective that enhances the absurdity of the current era. His activity would start at the end of 2023 with his \u2018Tomato Ketchup Clear\u2019: a transparent Heinz tomato sauce. The product was presented through a video showing the bottle on a supermarket shelf, which would reach 113 million views. However, the reality is that the product did not even exist, but was a strategy to introduce \u2018snackfishing\u2019 to the world, and achieve the impact he wanted to generate with it: revolutionise the internet and sow confusion among users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"798\" height=\"798\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-06-at-10-00-38-Instagram.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-283148\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-06-at-10-00-38-Instagram.png 798w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-06-at-10-00-38-Instagram-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-06-at-10-00-38-Instagram-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-06-at-10-00-38-Instagram-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Screenshot-2025-03-06-at-10-00-38-Instagram-400x400.png 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 798px) 100vw, 798px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Seeing the impact he had had, Benji decided to keep the same format and continue publishing fake viral products. From chocolate Pringles flavoured with MilkyBar to pistachio Kinder Bueno or chocolate mayonnaise. Of all these snacks, none of them are real, even if they look like it. In fact, many of us wish we could try them in real life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview with Wired, Benji revealed that it all started in 2019, when he and his friends were selecting original flavoured drinks to review. When the pandemic hit, he was forced to find an alternative way to discover new flavours: by making them up. With the help of Photoshop and a printer, he was able to create any snack his imagination could conjure up, including pickle-flavoured Haribo candies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@uksnackattack\/video\/7146879126714977541\" data-video-id=\"7146879126714977541\" data-embed-from=\"oembed\" style=\"max-width:605px; min-width:325px;\"> <section> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@uksnackattack\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@uksnackattack?refer=embed\">@uksnackattack<\/a> <p>Milkybar Pringles?!
