Coffee culture<\/strong>, increasingly integrated into society, has gone from residing on the fringes to becoming mainstream. A status that has led the industry to open countless speciality coffee shops, to inspire cocktails or to get ordinary people interested and interested in immersing themselves in each and every one of its nuances. Not to mention, it even has a festival dedicated to celebrating it, the CoffeFest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 15 to 17 February<\/strong>, the festival returns once again to Madrid <\/strong>to attract all coffee lovers to its orbit. It will present some new features, such as the fact of having some of the main influencers of speciality coffee such as Morgan Eckroth <\/strong>or James Hoffmann<\/strong>; as well as figures such as Yasir Ra\u00efs<\/strong>, founder of Syra Coffe and pioneer of speciality coffee in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n

CoffeeFest 2025<\/strong> will be held at IFEMA<\/strong> for its third edition with a programme that will include the latest trends in speciality coffee, gastronomic experiences and championships. It will also feature themed areas dedicated to cocoa, infusions, patisserie and an exclusive green coffee area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

World ranking<\/strong>: Which are the best coffee shops in the world? CoffeeFest will present The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops, the first world ranking of speciality coffee shops. In addition, the best in Spain will be revealed in the second edition of the national ranking The Best Coffee Shops.<\/p>\n\n\n

Historic auction<\/strong>: On 16 February, Europe’s first green coffee auction will take place, a unique event that will also donate part of its proceeds to social projects in coffee-growing communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National championships<\/strong>: The finals of the Spanish Barista Championship and the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Spanish Roasting Championship will be held, highlighting the most outstanding talents on the coffee scene.<\/p>\n\n\n

CoffeeFest Summit 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As part of the festival, the first Summit CoffeeFest<\/strong> will be held (15 February). Under the title \u2018Europe, the new gateway to speciality coffee\u2019, this congress will bring together leading international figures from the coffee industry with the aim of analysing Europe’s role as the next big growth market for speciality coffee.
