The bakery Luna & Wanda<\/a><\/strong>, known for baking sublime cheesecakes, has just opened two new boutiques in the capital, located in Ferraz 92<\/strong> and Ponzano 55<\/strong>. In them, you can appreciate a renewed design that maintains its artisan essence but with a modern and innovative twist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these openings, the company marks a new milestone after having sold more than 10,000 cheesecakes throughout 2024. And not only that, it presents another novelty: that of having reached the Gourmet section of several El Corte Ingl\u00e9s centres in Madrid, such as Serrano, Goya, Pozuelo and Princesa. From now on, its iconic cakes \u2018La Original\u2019, which follows the classic recipe, and \u2018La Biscoff\u2019 made with Lotus cream, will be available daily in its displays, until they run out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The founder of Luna & Wanda, Sergio Arjona, wanted to continue his strategic expansion plan to strengthen his presence in neighbourhoods such as Chamber\u00ed, where they opened their first bakery. According to Arjona, \u2018our previous bakery was in Calle Espronceda, in Chamber\u00ed, and we didn’t want to leave a neighbourhood that has given us so much. When we found a space in Ponzano, just a few metres from our original location, we knew it was the perfect place\u2019. On the other hand, the Calle Ferraz location has a special history for its founder, who knows the area well. \u2018I’ve known this area forever; it’s residential, quiet, with great potential and a community that has responded incredibly well. Many neighbours have told us: Thank you for bringing something different to the neighbourhood\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design of the new shops has once again been signed by the architecture and interior design studio Right Design Agency, with whom they already worked on their previous premises. The interior features cream and woody tones that reinforce the feeling of comfort and elegance which, together with distinctive elements such as the personalised shelves inspired by Le Corbusier’s colour palette, imbue the brightly lit premises with identity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
