That is precisely what the partners behind its reopening are achieving: the artist Piro, the DJ Amanda Portillo, the restaurateurs <strong>Neus Cerd\u00e0 <\/strong>and<strong> Edu Por las Noches<\/strong>, the chef<strong> \u00c1ngela Gimeno<\/strong>, the actor <strong>Unax Ugalde<\/strong> and the producer <strong>Enroque L\u00f3pez Lavigne<\/strong>, among others. To achieve this, they decided to collaborate with the Hello Vebena team of interior designers and architects, with whom they restored some of the original elements of the bar, such as Miguel and his father&#8217;s iconic bulrush chairs, the green and white checkerboard floor and the walls full of old photographs that make up a generational portrait of the era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This combination of Madrid tavern, Andalusian tablao and cave is also decorated with works of art, sculptures and carnations that encapsulate its romantic and traditional aura; and visually stimulate its design that harmonises tradition and modernity. The acoustics of the venue have also been improved so that the music can be heard and felt better. And they are doing so with spontaneous encounters like the one that happened between Ibero-American artists like Carlos Canela and Inc\u00f3s; where musicians like Yamandu Costa, Kara\u00ed Guedes and Yerai Cort\u00e9s connected Brazilian music with flamenco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-276674\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-1000x667.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/N2sigAmA-400x267.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Following in that footsteps, from Tuesdays to Thursdays -from February onwards- intimate, acoustic performances will be offered, creating spaces where established and emerging artists come together to experiment freely through improvisation, and glimpse their shared love of flamenco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesdays, in particular, \u2018<strong>Caf\u00e9 Canela<\/strong>\u2019 will take to the stage at the Candela as a weekly event in which a flamenco artist invites other artists to play or sing with them. It will include everything from dishes such as homemade pickles to preserves, spoon dishes or reinterpreted stews such as meatballs of old matured cow or chickpeas with trotters and prawns.
