That is, pour the hot oil and butter mixture over the steak. This technique adds layers of flavor to the proteins while helping to form the crust. The butter then creates what Ramsay calls a \u201cbeurre noisette,\u201d and what&#8217;s left over of this toasted butter will be used to roast potatoes or vegetables. A practical tip to reduce waste and maximize flavors.
